Indie agency Kaimera has announced a string of new client wins, including Intrepid Travel, Caroma, and Cointreau.
The announcement comes off the back of a successful 12 months for the agency who have experienced a run of new client wins, including commercial real estate giant, Knight Frank, myPlates, Rivkin, and Amaysim.
Kaimera has made a series of key senior hires, luring Slingshot’s Anna Magliano across after seven years with the business.
Joining as client director, Magliano brings over 15 years’ industry experience leading major accounts in agencies across APAC.
Also joining is data & analytics director, Gareth Kleinman, formerly a consultative lead at creative tech agency, Orchard, and Blue 449’s Ashlee Casalini.
The trio adds a combined 30+ years’ experience to Kaimera’s already senior roster, growing the agency’s headcount to 14.
Behr believes Kaimera’s success to be a clear signal of the ‘appetite for independents’ in a market largely dominated by holding groups.
Behr said: “Having spent time on both sides of the fence, I don’t think it’s any wonder clients and talent are gravitating toward the independents.
“I started Kaimera because I wanted to work in a way that was straightforward, allowed for agility, and enabled us to operate in a completely transparent way with clients, and that’s clearly an ambition they share.
“Independents like us aren’t hamstrung by the layers of complexity that typify the big holding groups, which frees us up to do exactly what’s right by our clients”.
Behr added: “They know precisely what we’re doing, where their money’s being spent, and how it’s working for them. And that’s a powerful point of difference”.
