EXCLUSIVE: Health insurance comparison site iSelect has lured Sensis senior marketer Geraldine Davys to fill the marketing director role.
Davys replaces Roger McBride who resigned in October but will continue to consult directly with iSelect over the coming few months.
Davys is a “valuable addition” to the iSelect executive team, executive chairman Damien Waller said.
“Her 20 plus years of senior marketing experience and track record of success gives me great comfort that the iSelect brand and marketing function will go from strength to strength under her leadership,” he added.
Davys had been with Sensis for nine years in a variety of marketing roles, having most recently been group manager of brand and digital marketing communications.
Before joining Sensis she was a marketer for Westpac and marketing manager of Lend Lease.
Her appointment to iSelect’s top marketing role was effective October 21.
On McBride’s departure Waller said: “I’d like to thank Roger for his strong contribution to iSelect over the years and wish him every success for the future.”
In May the brand released a pre-tax time marketing push called 'Jane Hurty' (below), created by AJF Partnership Melbourne. In February iSelect re-appointed The Taboo Group to its social media account following a four-way pitch.
