Hygiene Company Bodyform Tackles Advertising Taboos In Incredibly Emotive, Powerful & Raw #WombStories Campaign

Hygiene and personal care brand Bodyform has launched its latest campaign #WombStories via a female-led team at AMV BBDO and visual effects studio Framestore.

The campaign uses a mixture of animation and real-life actors to bring to life the stories of different women at different stages in their lives, from their first period to menopause and everything in between.

Bodyform, which is known as Libresse outside the UK has won awards for its powerful Viva la Vulva campaign (which if you haven’t watched, definitely check it out).

This ad, however, is being praised for touching on more serious and oftentimes taboo topics, such a miscarriage.

It tackles the realities of being a woman head on, from period blood to birth, female pleasure and everything in between – topics that are typically shunned in adland.
