“Is He Hung Like A Horse?” Adam Driver Morphs Into A Centaur For Bizarre Burberry Fragrance Ad & The Internet’s Exploded!

If there’s one pitch where an ECD gets to throw all sense of the normal and the rational out the window, it has to be the perfume/fragrance category.

And a new campaign for Burberry’s new men’s fragrance ‘Hero’ is causing an online stir after it featured Star Wars actor Adam Driver, 37, morphing into a half-human, half-horse centaur.

Viewers of the ad, that dropped yesterday, were unsure if the fabled British brand was being serious or the whole thing was a piss-take.

The admittedly beautifully shot ad features a shirtless Diver – who became a Burberry ambassador earlier this month – and a horse running alongside each other on a secluded beach, before having a swim in the ocean and ultimately becoming one in a befuddling centaur climax.

The short film – soundtracked to FKA Twigs’s Two Weeks – was directed by Jonathan Glazer, while the still imagery was photographed by Mario Sorrenti.

Check out the work below:

As these things tend to do, the internet has erupted over the merits of the spot, with many viewers – primarily women – confused that they’d suddenly become sexually attracted to a horse-man!

“Adam Driver doing a cologne ad where he becomes a centaur is completely on brand for him,” one fan posted of the ad.

Another crudely added: “Is he the same size as the horse?”

“Pretending to be a horse so Adam Driver can ride me too,” penned another.

While another posted: “Nothing smells as good as a sweaty man-horse.”
