Digital creative agency Holler’s CEO Mike Hill has announced he will leave the agency after a decade.
“This has been an incredibly tough decision to make as Holler is a part of who I am, and probably always will be,” said Hill.
“I’ve worked with so many great people in that time, I will never forget. After 10 years I feel it’s time to move on and focus on some of those ideas that have been nagging in the back of my head. I’m leaving Holler in with fantastic clients and in great hands. It’s time for me to test myself again.”
An unorthodox career trajectory brought him to lead one of Australia best agencies. From junior flash developer in Holler London 17 years ago, to CEO of Holler Australia.
Founded over 10 years ago, Holler Australia has evolved from its early days as a social media and digital production agency to a full service digital design firm, working closely with brands such as Audi, Blackmores, Heineken and Nestlé to name just a few.
In a statement about his departure, Merran Morton, managing director said “As Founder, Mike has played a crucial role in making Holler what it is today. With recent wins and a strong new direction in play we’re excited about the future as we embark on the next stage of Holler’s growth expanding on Mike’s legacy.”
Kevin Slaven, CEO IPMG said: “After Mike’s 10-year contribution to Holler we fully support his will to go and pursue all the ideas and dreams that have been put on hold while he focused on getting Holler to where it is today.
