Heineken is poised to live up to its #openyourworld mantra by bringing its iconic Heineken Saturday event to Sydney’s shores for the very first time.
In partnership with Royal Croquet Club, which is also making its much anticipated New South Wales debut on the first stop of its 2016/17 summer tour, the world’s leading international premium beer brand will kick off summer in style on 3 December.
Having firmly established itself as a legendary event and a must attend on social calendars following over two decades worth of entertainment and revelry at The Australian Open, Heineken® Saturday is set to branch out and embrace the sights and sounds of North Bondi. As part of 11 days packed with entertainment running from November 24 to December 4, Heineken Saturday will be the spectacle at the very heart of the Royal Croquet Club carnival that has been dazzling Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane in recent years.
Entertainment at Heineken Saturday will be highlighted by a trio of main performers – the chilled out tones of indie pop sensations San Cisco will foster an idyllic afternoon drinking vibe, while high-energy EDM stars Bag Raiders and KLP (Kristy Lee Peters) will move the tempo up a gear as the evening progresses. The main acts will be supported throughout the day by a selection of the best local talent around.
Bringing Heineken Saturday to Sydney for the first time and partnering with a lifestyle festival such as Royal Croquet Club, consumers will be able to make the most of Heineken’s renowned world-class hospitality, as well as soaking up the atmosphere of the Royal Croquet Club, across the 11 days of the festival, which is set to be one of the most sought after spots in Bondi this summer.
Nada Steel, marketing manager, Heineken Lion Australia, said, “Taking what has been a legendary event in Heineken Saturday to Sydney is a logical step for us as we continue to create great experiences for all consumers. The partnership with Royal Croquet Club gave us the ideal platform to make the event even bigger, offering a playground of music, experiential arts, food and, of course, croquet, which can all be enjoyed with a refreshing, cold Heineken while soaking up the Sydney sunshine!”
