Aegis Media’s digital marketing agency Isobar is expanding across the ditch with an Auckland office to launch on February 1 next year.

Heading the New Zealand office as general manager is Grant Henderson, currently GM of Isobar Sydney.

The native New Zealander has been with Isobar for six years, first as creative director before taking on the GM role in 2011.

Konrad Spilva, managing director Isobar Australia, said Henderson did a great job growing the Sydney office and he: “couldn’t think of anybody more qualified to achieve success in the New Zealand market”.

“The establishment of an office in Auckland comes at a great time for our business. We are increasingly working on a global scale and opening up our regional offer via New Zealand will bring great benefit to our current and prospective clients in the region,” Konrad added.

The new NZ office will work closely with the Isobar Australia team to manage existing digital and creative agency projects for clients such as Holden and Jetstar.

Robert Harvey, CEO of Aegis Media NZ, added: “I couldn’t be more excited about the launch of Isobar New Zealand. Isobar is an Aegis Media network brand I have long admired and looked at from afar wishing we had their presence in NZ. Adding digital creative capability to the New Zealand group will transform our business.”

“Our mission is to reinvent the way brands are built and digital sits at the heart of a convergent media world. Grant has a deep understanding of the Isobar brand and is the perfect person to lead this launch and I can’t wait to have him at the table of our senior leadership team.”
