Launching at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday 16 October, the I Catch Killers Live tour will travel to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Friday 22 October before continuing to Brisbane BCEC on Saturday 30 October and wrapping up at The Plenary in Melbourne on Saturday 6 November.
Gary Jubelin is one of Australia’s most celebrated homicide detectives who led some of the country’s largest, most complex and high-profile investigations.
These included gangland killings, serial murders, sexually motivated murders, domestic murders, child killers, police shootings, abductions and serial rapists.
Today, Gary Jubelin is known as the host of the top 10 ranking true crime podcast, I Catch Killers and recently launched the highly anticipated third series.
Jubelin’s guests include detectives, bad guys, criminologists, lawyers and forensic experts who have all been on the front line of some of the most horrific crimes this country has ever seen and offer their insights and untold stories.
This is a Live Show; there is no safety net here, it will be raw and brutally honest just like the world Gary inhabited. Jubelin will be put on the spot by Rob Carlton – who he has known for 20 years – so there will be no place to hide.
Nothing is off limits. Carlton will be probing the tough cases, ruthless criminals, controversies and regrets.
Audience members will be taken on a journey from the crime scene to the interview room and discover sometimes at the end of a case there is nothing left except darkness. But, they will also discover that humanity, kindness, and humour make this dark world a little brighter for all those involved.
Ensuring nothing is left on stage, the audience also get to question Jubelin in a no holds barred Q & A Session.
Jubelin said, “after 34 years in the NSW police force, 25 years in homicide, one book, and three seasons of podcasts, the intense interest the Australian public has for insights into the criminal mind continues to astound me.”
“Now, I’m thrilled to be able to travel this country to bring true stories of the highs and lows of catching bad guys to the stage and connect with people in a live forum”.
