Behavioural intelligence company Flowing Bee, has appointed Jonny Hanratty as head of applied research & strategy following a period of rapid growth.
Hanratty brings 15 years of experience across behavioural science, strategy and customer growth. He has joined Flowing Bee from The Lab, where he co-led its behavioural science business and worked across major accounts including Woolworths, Allianz, Kenvue and Suncorp.
Prior to The Lab, Hanratty spent five years at The Behavioural Architects, where he helped grow the Uber and Uber Eats relationship from Australia into markets across APAC, LATAM, the US and EMEA.
In his new role, Hanratty will deepen Flowing Bee’s applied behavioural science capability, lead senior client engagements and shape new products and services bringing together behavioural science, research and AI.
“What drew me to Flowing Bee was the opportunity to work at the intersection of behavioural science, AI engineering and automation, and to scale behavioural insight and expert judgement in ways that simply weren’t possible a few years ago,” said Hanratty.
“What excites me is the ability to retain the depth and rigour of behavioural science while dramatically increasing the speed and scale at which organisations can apply it.”
“Jonny’s superpower is understanding what really drives customer behaviour and how to change it. He brings 15 years of experience helping ASX 50 and Fortune 500 companies unlock growth, along with serious commercial and strategic horsepower. As Flowing Bee scales, Jonny will play a big role in deepening the value we create for clients and in shaping what we build next at the intersection of behavioural science and AI,” said Flowing Bee co-founder and CEO Dr Michael Sankey.
