Afterpay has announced that its smart and flexible payment option is available for Australian customers on Amazon.com.au and via the Amazon AU app.

This partnership brings together the fastest way to shop with the smartest way to pay – giving customers the ultimate convenience and unrivalled flexibility across millions of items in tech, home, fashion, wellness, and more.

Whether it’s ticking off something from your Amazon Wish List, finding the perfect gift, upgrading your tech or refreshing your living space, this integration offers customers Amazon’s fast delivery speeds with a new and flexible way to pay.

Katrina Konstas, EVP, country manager at Afterpay said, “As a nation, we love the ease and speed of online shopping. With Afterpay now available at checkout on Amazon Australia, we’re empowering millions of shoppers to access what they want, when they want it, all while maintaining control of their spending. We’re thrilled to offer Amazon customers a new way to pay with the convenience and confidence they can trust from Afterpay.”

Sujit Misra, director of APAC Payments, Amazon said, “We’re always looking for ways to improve the shopping experience for our Australian customers. With affordability and choice top of mind, adding Afterpay gives shoppers another flexible option in how they pay on Amazon. For purchases in categories like electronics, home, beauty and fashion, customers enjoy the speed and reliability they’ve come to know from Amazon, alongside the convenience of Afterpay, all in just a few easy clicks.

To pay for your Amazon purchases with Afterpay, first link your Afterpay account to your Amazon wallet on the website or app. Once connected, you can select Afterpay at checkout to split your payment into four interest-free instalments.
