Following its biggest year to date, Eleven has increased its leadership team with internal promotions and new hires.
Fiona Milliken has been promoted to the newly created position of general manager, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Sydney office. After four years at Eleven, and previously group director, Milliken will focus on maintaining the company’s continued growth and delivering the creative, results-driven work the agency is known for.
“Fiona has played a major part in building Eleven into what it is today. Her drive for success has helped deliver award-winning work for many of the brands we’re fortunate to represent,” Roberto Pace, Eleven’s managing director Australia, said.
Earlier this year Fee Townshend joined Eleven as the managing director of the new Melbourne office. Angelina Farry remains the managing director of Eleven’s New Zealand operations.
As part of the agency’s growth plan, two new Sydney-based Account Directors have also been added to the fold, Laura Fields from leading London agency Ketchum and Jade Glashoff from GTI Tourism.
New general manager Fiona Milliken believes that the new-look team will help ensure Eleven continues to deliver its best work.
“Eleven has always done things differently and that’s what we will continue to do. As a business we’re all about creating culture for brands and ultimately driving great commercial and communication outcomes for our clients.
“With the new structure and senior hires in place, we look forward to building on our vision and creating an agency that challenges the boundaries of what PR can achieve for brands.”
To deliver on its mission to create culture for brands, Eleven and sister agency TBWA have developed a range of proprietary tools including Backslash, a global team of trendspotters to identify cultural opportunities as and when they happen; Bolt, a content creation hub; and Hubblescope, for influencer identification, engagement and analysis.
“It’s been a great start to 2017, with new clients, awards and great people joining the team. Here’s to more good times,” Roberto said.
