Cairns Crocodiles, presented by Pinterest, has unveiled its much-anticipated Cairns Extra program, a curated series of exclusive events designed to complement the three-day conference and deepen connections beyond the mainstage.

From intimate gatherings and bespoke breakfasts to VIP dinners, waterfront celebrations and the iconic Pinterest Welcome Party, Cairns Extra events are the experiences that happen around the conference. Access is limited, with only full ticket holders able to apply to take part.

Don’t forget, some Cairns Extra events start on Monday 11 May, so don’t be left high and dry with a flight that arrives on Monday evening!

The program includes a mix of relaxed networking and standout social moments, such as the Disney Advertising Yacht Party, a sunset cruise aboard a luxury superyacht bringing partners together for cocktails and conversation, and the Boomtown Welcome Cocktail Party, a lively waterfront celebration at Sails to kick off the festivities.

“Cairns Extra events form an essential part of the Cairns Crocodiles experience, creating space for meaningful conversations, unexpected connections and memorable moments that extend well beyond the conference program,” said Rosie Oakshott, managing director, B&T and Cairns Crocodiles.

Food-led experiences feature strongly, with highlights including the News Welcome Dinner at Floriana, a Mediterranean-inspired evening hosted by News Australia, the StackAdapt Luncheon on day one, Criteo’s lunch and learn session, and the exclusive Realize Private Island Dinner, an invitation-only dining experience set against an unforgettable island backdrop for senior leaders.

“In addition to the land-based Cairns Extra experiences, this year, more than ever we have some unique experiences taking to the water, with a series of luxury yacht events set to unfold on the Cairns harbour,” Oakshott added.

Disney Advertising and Mutinex have been announced as headline partners for the yacht events, with Disney hosting an exclusive experience on Monday 11 May, before the full event kicks off, and Mutinex following on Wednesday 13 May.

More informal moments are also built into Cairns Crocodiles, including A Beer and a Yarn with News at Hemingway’s Brewery, where delegates can unwind over local brews, and Bucky’s Trivia Presented by News, a fast-paced pub-quiz-style showdown that promises plenty of banter and competitive fun.

At the heart of the social calendar is the official Pinterest Welcome Party, long regarded as one of the most iconic nights of the week, followed by the Cairns Crocodiles Closing Party, offering a final chance to relax, mingle and celebrate another inspiring edition of the event.
