Dentsu Australia has been awarded the Q2 Agency of the Quarter in the prestigious Google Honours program.

This award recognises the achievement of the very best Performance marketing agencies and providers across Australia and New Zealand.  More than 35 agencies participated in the program in its fifth year running.

“This was a huge team effort to drive our agency metrics and we provided individual case study submissions across all media agencies and markets.  The agency award is a reflection of that scaled effort and capability in performance marketing,” said Andrew Macdonald, Dentsu’s national head of paid search & social (pictured).

The awards also recognise the best individual performance marketers across the industry. Dentsu had further success in the individual categories with Carat’s Peter Young taking out Agency Rockstar of the Quarter, a category that acknowledges innovative work from senior performance marketers.

Young won the award for his strategic work in building a weighted formula bid strategy and geo testing framework to optimise SEM campaigns for both online and offline conversion actions.

To qualify, performance marketing agencies were invited to enter the Awards and were measured against specific product metrics indicative of best practice – metrics designed to deliver the best possible business results for clients.
