2Day FM radio duo Dan Debuf and Maz Compton have announced they’re quitting the radio life, just one year after they were shunted to the weekend breakfast slot for Rove McManus and Sam Frost.
Dan and Maz were poached from Nova, joining the SCA Hit Network in 2013. The pair worked the breakfast show for Nova in Adelaide between 2009 and 2012. In 2013, they hosted a nightly show before moving to the drive slot in 2014. They were promoted to the struggling breakfast timeslot in January 2015 before being dumped and sent to weekend in October that year.
In July 2015, B&T’s John Bastick sat down with Dan & Maz to talk all things radio.
The comedians announced over social media that the weekend show would be their last.
