Pilot has extended its major partnership with the Cronulla Sharks‘ for a further two seasons, landing a spot as the NRL team’s jersey sternum sponsor from 2025.

The online men’s health platform joined forces with the Sharks in 2022 and previously featured on the NRL playing shorts.

Launched in 2019, Pilot has supported over 200,000 Aussie men, allowing access to trusted healthcare practitioners to treat physical and sexual health without any stigma.

With advances in evidence-backed treatment and the growing knowledge of support in this space, there’s still a long way to go:

  • 1 in 3 Australian men experience ED
  • 7 in 10 Australian men are either overweight or obese
  • 30% of Australian men live in rural/regional areas and struggle to access the right level of care
  • 71% of Aussie men avoid consultations for intimate health concerns with many citing embarrassment as an issue.

In the hopes of sparking conversations and dismantling the taboo nature of these health areas, several Sharks players have appeared in memorable TV advertisements for Pilot.

“We’re proud to extend our partnership with Pilot and further our impact in the men’s health space, where it’s vital to continue breaking down barriers and encouraging open conversations,” Sharks CEO Dino Mezzatesta said.

“It’s exciting to have a strong, value-driven brand like Pilot fill such a prominent space on the sternum of our NRL jersey. We’re also extremely grateful to PointsBet, who have held that distinction for the past five years and will continue to support the Sharks.

“We anticipate many more successes with Pilot on and off the field.”

“Pilot’s partnership with the Sharks over the past couple of years has been a lot of fun. We’re proud to upgrade our support of the club and are keen to watch them take on the competition in the 2025 season,” said Tim Doyle, Pilot CEO.
