Big Bash Leagues have launched ‘Let’s BBYELL’, a campaign catchcry for both the WBBL and BBL this summer via Eavesdrop and Initiative.

This Big Bash season isn’t just about turning up to watch. It’s about turning up to BBYELL.

Produced by creative agency Eavesdrop and starring Australian actor Felix Cameron, the campaign celebrates the high-energy, unmissable summer experience that is the Big Bash Leagues. The bold, unified campaign brings Weber WBBL and KFC BBL together under one powerful platform and encourages everyone to attend, cheer their lungs out and make some noise.

The multi-stage launch begins with ‘WBBYELL’ creative, which featured throughout Seven News last Thursday and will now be rolled out nationally. The second phase of the ‘Let’s BBYELL’ campaign will begin on November 16.

The Weber WBBL starts on Sunday, November 9, whilst the KFC BBL begins on Sunday, December 14.

“We are thrilled to introduce the ‘Let’s BBYELL’ campaign and can’t wait for the summer of Big Bash to begin,” said Cricket Australia head of brand and marketing Teresa Basile.

“The Big Bash is proudly and unapologetically loud, it’s an immersive family-friendly experience driven by passionate supporters and the world’s best players.

“This distinctive campaign showcases all the emotions and energy of the Big Bash, encouraging everyone to not only attend, but to cheer their lungs out and make some noise for their favourite players.

“I would like to thank our creative partner Eavesdrop who worked in collaboration to deliver the campaign.”

“It’s pretty surreal to have watched and loved the Big Bash for so many years and now be part of the marketing campaign,” explained Cameron. “Getting to meet the players and talk cricket all day on set was a dream come true!

“Big Bash is hands down my favourite time of year. I’ve been a die-hard Melbourne Stars fan since I was five, and the Melbourne Derby is a lock-in tradition with my family. I’ve also got a soft spot for the Heat after living in Brisbane in 2022.

“So… go Stars and go Heat!”
