After announcing on Friday that she would no longer be taking any legal action against Seven West Media in the NSW Supreme Court, it has been revealed that Amber Harrison wanted to “kill” the company’s boss, Tim Worner.

As they pursue legal costs, Seven’s lawyers told the court this morning that the former employee boasted about orchestrating a “vindictive” and “arrogant” media campaign to embarrass Worner about their affair in emails to a co-worker, according to Fairfax.

“I want to kill him. It will make Nova look like a turkey slap,” Harrison wrote in an email.

The Nova incident that Harrison was referring to was a “multi-platform” revenge campaign that she waged previously against a Nova executive who had “f*$#ed [her] over”.

“I splashed it across the papers for three weeks,” Harrison wrote in another email.

Seven’s QC, Dr Andrew Bell told the court: “We have a defendant here, regrettably, who is completely and utterly reckless with regard to other people … and who has used now, in at least two instances, contacts in the media to humiliate and embarrass people.”
