Aboriginal Victoria and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne have unveiled the next phase of Deadly Questions, with Aboriginal Victorians providing answers to some of the most commonly asked questions.
The next iteration of Deadly Questions follows the passage of the Advancing the Treaty Process with Aboriginal Victorians Act 2018 through Parliament in June. The Act provides a roadmap for the next stage of the Treaty process, including the establishment of an Aboriginal Representative Body to help design a framework for treaty negotiations.
With more than 2600 questions submitted to the website since launch, the creative focusses on members of the Victorian Aboriginal community providing responses to the most commonly asked questions, including:

Josh Smith, executive director at Aboriginal Victoria and a Dunghutti man, said, “The response we had to the launch of Deadly Questions has been fantastic. The campaign is about amplifying the voices of Aboriginal Victorians and sharing their stories. It’s provided an important avenue for non-Aboriginal and Aboriginal Victorians to engage in meaningful discussion as we move towards Treaty.”
