Unveils ‘The Best Re-gift Ever’ With Daniel Ricciardo Unveils ‘The Best Re-gift Ever’ With Daniel Ricciardo is celebrating its 20th birthday with ‘the best re-gift ever’, giving two customers the chance to win a trip for two to Texas to meet Australian F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo during the United States FormulaTM1 Grand Prix.

The carsales team is so busy helping consumers buy and sell cars they can’t go on the all-expenses paid trip to the Grand Prix in Austin to meet Ricciardo, so they’re re-gifting it to two lucky customers who each get the chance to bring along a buddy.

There are multiple ways to enter the promotion at ever, which will run from 13 July to 8 September. The prize is an all-expenses paid trip for 2 x 2 people to Austin, Texas, including flights, tickets to the United States FormulaTM1 Grand Prix, accommodation, spending money and a meet and greet with Ricciardo in pit lane.

All up the value of the Grand Prix package is around $44,000. And in addition there’s another $25,000 worth of prizes up for grabs including ten $1,000 gift cards, 200 $20 gift cards and a stack of Red Bull Racing caps.

Ricciardo was named as carsales’ global brand ambassador in February 2017 and has been helping inspire car buyers and sellers through his own personal love of driving ever since.

carsales chief marketing officer Kellie Cordner says the synergy between Riccardo and carsales has laid the foundations for an excellent brand partnership.

“We were thrilled to welcome Daniel to the family earlier this year as our first ever global brand ambassador. Daniel’s authentic and congenial personality, along with his sporting prowess and keen interest in cars, makes him a great fit for the carsales brand,” said Cordner.

The ‘best re-gift ever’ competition celebrates carsales’ 20th birthday and rewards customers for buying and selling their cars via the award-winning online platform over the last two decades.

“When we launched in 1997, there were 500 cars on the site. carsales has grown 43900% over the past 20 years – in 2017 we have approximately 220,000 cars available at any given time,” continued Cordner.

Over the past 20 years carsales’ service offering has evolved to include editorial features, unique valuation and identification data, as well as adjacent products and services such as finance and warranty.
