Burger King Unveils Cunning Campaign To Destroy Rival

Burger King Unveils Cunning Campaign To Destroy Rival

In one cunning swoop, Burger King has set its intention to destroy rival Starbucks through a newly unveiled coffee subscription service.

Called the BK Cafe Subscription, coffee enthusiasts simply download the app and can automatically grab the same coffee every day at Burger King.

While the convenience is a drawing card, what’s really cunning is the price.

The cost is just $5 per month, which is about the price of a large cappuccino from Starbucks.

In its press release, Burger King specifically targeted Starbucks, saying: “For the price of a large cappuccino from Starbucks, you can have a BK Café brewed coffee every day for a month”.

This essentially means each coffee will cost app users cents, rather than dollars.

It goes without saying that the true purpose behind this ad is to get coffee drinkers to head to the drive-thru, see all the greasy, glorious fast-food pictures, and be tempted to buy.

Either way, the genius advertising tally now stands at one point for Burger King, and nil for Starbucks.
