Here it is, the CMO Long List for 2025 (pending any last-minute job switches—we’re looking at you, Natalie Lockwood).

The CMO Long List is the prelude, the entrée, the warm up for the all-conquering CMO Power List.

This year, we’re delighted to be partnering with the Australian Traffic Network (ATN) on our Long and Power Lists.

Vic Lorusso, CEO at ATN said: “We’re delighted to be the presenting partner for this year’s CMO Power List, celebrating the most influential marketing leaders who excel in capturing consumer attention. Just as these CMOs command focus with expertise and precision, ATN’s attention advantage is a key differentiator, offering critical lean-in traffic information with premium advertising messaging that grab consumer focus at scale when it matters most. As one of the leading broadcast media platforms for close to 30 years, ATN is refreshing our commitment to deliver critical, high-impact moments for brands. We congratulate all these marketing visionaries whose work has been recognised in this year’s CMO Power List.”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. We’d also like to say a big thank you to creative studio Made In Katana. The team based in its Erskineville studio are helping us to photograph the final 20 CMO Power List inductees. You’ll be able to see who makes the final Power List in March next year.

So here, for your delectation, is the Long List from which the 20 most powerful marketers in the land will be selected. You’ll also note that not everyone on this list is technically a CMO. Such is the changing nature of the industry that there will be chief customer officers, chief audience officers—heck we’ve even got one chief operating officer with marketing reporting into him.

We’ve checked it once, we’ve checked it twice (and maybe frantically again the evening before publishing this story). But mistakes do happen. If we’ve misspelt your name, missed someone desperately important off the list, or forgot that you had reached your maximum three-year stint as CMO of any particular brand, please let [email protected] know.
