As revealed last week, B&T’s 30 Under 30 Awards, presented by Vevo, is back and it’s swaggier than ever.
This isn’t just another night of clinking glasses and shiny trophies (though there’ll be plenty of that, too). It’s your moment to be recognised among the next generation of industry trailblazers—the ones rewriting the rules, setting the trends, and shaping what comes next in advertising, marketing and media.
Being inducted into the halls of B&T’s 30 Under 30 winners doesn’t simply give you bragging rights or the chance to add some sparkle to your LinkedIn.
Ogilvy’s Cindy Diep was promoted to senior copywriter after winning the Creative category.

It’s a legit career rocket.
Just ask VML’s Charlie Dejean, last year’s Creative category and Grand Prix winner. He’s been on an absolute tear since then taking home gold at both Cairns Crocodiles and the Cannes Lions.
Dejean was the copywriter on the ‘Legacy Taps‘ initiative, which saw faucets installed alongside other beer taps in pubs and clubs across NSW. The dry taps are equipped with RFID technology, allowing patrons to thank their fallen veterans by buying them a symbolic beer with a simple tap of their phone or credit card.
Following the awards night, Dejean helped 1001 Optometry launch ‘The Hidden Eye Test’.
The campaign demonstrated to people that they needed their eyes tested, rather than telling them. This was through a message that was displayed on outdoor advertising that was dependent on the health of your eyes.
Proof that this isn’t just an award, it’s a launchpad.
While Dejean was top of the class, others in the 2025 30 Under 30 cohort have hit the loud pedal on their careers.
Wavemaker’s Kate O’Loughlin has recently been promoted to group strategy director.
Shortly after winning a B&T 30 Under 30 Award, Alexandra La Sala departed Think HQ for an in-house role at ANZ. Similar to La Sala, Bree Peiris moved on to the Sydney Swans to fill an event specialist role.
Two months ago, Annabel Zhou was promoted to startup success manager AI first at Google, all whilst still being the co-founder of Toastie.
Now we’re on the hunt for the next wave of game changers. The ones who are bold enough to think different, loud enough to be heard, and humble enough to know the grind never stops. So, if you reckon you’ve got main character energy, this is your sign to back yourself and enter.
