Music and entertainment publisher The Brag Media hosted a music showcase for the MediaCom Marketplace team.
Leveraging its unique position in the music and entertainment markets to further highlight opportunities for brands, The Brag Media hosted staffers from GroupM’s biggest agency MediaCom last week for a rousing performance from emerging Adelaide singer-songwriter Adrian Eagle (featured image).
After garnering widespread acclaim for his breakout hit ‘17 Again’, Eagle performed at Splendour In The Grass last year, gained high rotation support from triple j, and supported Eminem on his local tour as he joined Australian hip-hop icons Hilltop Hoods onstage.
Adrian Eagle turned the agency’s local drinking hole, The Rag & Famish Hotel, into a live venue for a short set and interview, where he also took questions from MediaCom execs about his life and music.
The Brag Media’s CEO, Luke Girgis said: “The Brag Media is in an unrivalled position to enable bands to meet brands through events like MediaCom’s Marketplace Social.
“Music is the #1 leisure interest of Millennials and Gen Zers so it’s great we are able to bring the best music talent and content to agencies and their clients.”
Girgis added: “We know better than anyone just how to move the dial for our partners when they want to tap into music and it was great to spend the night with MediaCom showcasing the future work we will be doing together.
“Adrian Eagle was a star, and had everyone at MediaCom and The Brag Media in the palm of his hands right throughout his performance.
“With live music growth at an all-time high on a global scale, now is the time for brands to interact more heavily with the music industry.”
MediaCom is a multi-award-winning agency.
Just last month it was named Agency Network of the Year by WARC Media 100, which tracks the performance of campaigns, brands and agencies.
Its clients include Westpac, Queensland Government, Mars, Adidas, Bose and Hilton, among others.
