Before Nova 96.9’s Wippa stripped for maire claire, parody duo the Bondi Hipsters took off their clothes to mimic Miranda Kerr’s raunchy GQ shoot.
Miranda Kerr caused a stir with her steamy photo shoot and accompanying sound bites.
In her interview, which has been described as ‘remarkably open’, she tells the men’s mag she loves the female body.
“I definitely need a man in the bedroom, however – a nice strong chest to lie on. Still, I want to explore. Never say never,” she said.
Now, Sydney’s own Bondi Hipsters are taking the mickey out of the former Victoria’s Secret Angel with pictures they shared via Facebook late last week.
The Networker asked you who, Wippa or Megan Gale, worked the marie claire cover better and now he wants to know if you think tattooed, hairy men can pull of nude photo shoots?
According to the Bondi Hipsters’ interview with The Huffington Post the duo chose to recreate Kerr’s shoot to highlight how the media over sexualise women.
“As you can see, the shoot comes across very differently," Christiann Van Vuuren, a writer for Bondi Hipsters said.
"We think that this is a good case for the over-sexualization of the female body in the high fashion world. For some reason as soon as you put a man in there, and have a man talking about same-sex curiosity and masturbation it's an entirely different thing that we aren't used to seeing in the media."
