‘Black Friday’ Customer Frenzy Turns To Media Calamity As A Single Shopper Shows Up

Nothing makes a great TV news story quite like maddening throngs of shoppers queueing-up for hours and then going berko during a frenzied sale.

However, UK journos were left with a rather watered-down version when they assembled for a Black Friday rush last Friday at Curry’s PC World in the middle of London’s shopping district.

Curry’s had opened at the crack of dawn to accommodate the perceived hordes wanting a hefty discount on their tech.

Sadly, as the BBC footage below shows, only one shopper arrived for the 7am opening. The shopper, a gent named only as Marcel, proceeds to glide into the store to pick-up the PC that he’d pre-ordered. Check out the hilarious non-event below:
