Billie Eilish Teams Up With Nike To Release Vegan Air Jordans

Influential singer Billie Eilish is teaming up with Nike for a sustainable sneaker collection.

Eilish, who was just named one of Time’s most influential people of the year, announced the ethical sneaker collection on her Instagram.

The collection’s sneakers will be 100 per cent vegan, made from over 20 per cent recycled material. Hardly surprisingly, considering Eilish only wore Oscar de la Renta to the Met Gala, after the brand promised to stop using fur.

Eilish isn’t the first celebrity to release a version of Air Jordans. Travis Scott famously did last year – to sold-out results. But, Eilish may be the first celebrity to demand they get a vegan makeover.

Eilish has also made the collection her own. The Air Jord 1KO is available in lime green, a nod to her iconic and famous hair during her ‘Bad Guy’ era.

The Air Jordan 15’s also feature the singer’s infamous ‘Bloshsh’ logo on the tongue of the sneaker – a logo that fans know from Eilish’s merch and music.

Eilish celebrated the collaboration on Instagram, where she told her 92.4 million followers, that, “It was such an incredible and surreal experience getting to create these, especially in a sustainable fashion.”

Currently, the kicks are available exclusively on her website but will still be on Nike’s official website.
