Bigo Live, a global market leader in livestreaming, is set to spotlight everyday people turned livestreaming stars with the launch of ‘BIGO Grand Ambassador X Annual Gala’, its first OOH campaign in the ANZ region.

The campaign’s creative, which was developed in-house, seeks to empower individuals and families of different backgrounds to connect, socialise and showcase their talents by highlighting the broad range of everyday people that have shined on the Bigo Live livestreaming platform in 2020.

Bigo Live has achieved steady platform growth in Australia and Zealand in 2020, with an average 26.89% monthly increase in broadcasters and over 1.3 million subscribers in the ANZ market.

Over twenty different Australian and New Zealand-based top Bigo Live broadcasters from its in-app Grand Ambassador events and regional finalists for its upcoming international Annual Gala will be featured across various digital and static OOH formats. The Annual Gala rewards Bigo Live’s most noteworthy global broadcasters and celebrates both users’ and the company’s achievements.

A spokesperson from Bigo ANZ said: “We have witnessed remarkable growth on Bigo Live this year as more Aussies and Kiwis discovered the benefits of livestreaming, so we wanted to share our thanks and give back to broadcasters and their communities with a campaign that amplifies their true connection and talent outside the digital space.”

The campaign will be seeded out across two digital large format billboards at Central and Town Hall stations in Sydney and over 120 digital panels on street furniture, rail, retail and venues throughout the Greater Sydney area, as part of Bigo Live’s global OOH campaign across major capital cities in twenty countries.

Lookmuu, one of Bigo Live’s top Australian-based broadcasters currently with over 52,700 followers, commented: “As a Bigo Live broadcaster, it’s encouraging to see how committed Bigo Live is to offering online communities an inclusive, creative platform to shine on the platform and beyond. I’m really excited to see fellow broadcasters spotlighted in this campaign, to end the year on a high with all the people I’ve connected with through the platform and kickstart the new year hopefully at the Annual Gala.”
