BigAds Re-Hires Michael Buhagiar For US And NZ Growth

Australian tech company BigAds has hired Michael Buhagiar and Nick Paschalis as it sets its sights on new markets.

Buhagiar was most recently the NZ Country Director for Playground XYZ for close to two years and has more than 18 years of experience in senior leadership positions across media agencies, global publications and AdTech organisations.

Buhagiar hire is part of BigAds expansion plans to continue its growth across Australia, New Zealand, APAC, UK & US region in 2023 onwards.

Dave Green, CEO BigAds said: “We’ve enjoyed providing adtech and martech to Australian and New Zealand markets for almost a 13 years, but the past four have been our most successful yet and as a result, we’ve grown significantly with the industries impressive uptake with our Buddy ad tech platform”.

“We continue to employee local engineers, designers, Ops to ensure our customers have the best experience”.

Green welcomed Buhagiar and said: “We’re really excited to have Michael come on board to supercharge our existing success with agencies and partners, bring on new clients and establish new markets.”

“Michael brings incredible experience, energy and drive to the BigAds growing family, He understands the needs of blue-chip advertisers and their agencies, and he will help clients to utilise the Buddy platform to drive far higher levels of optimisation of their creative and media”, Green added.

Alongside his new role at BigAds, Buhagiar was the Chair of the Interactive Advertising Bureau NZ Digital Effectiveness Council and has previously held senior roles at Yahoo!, and Mademedia.
