Sportswear giant adidas has bought two of football’s greatest ever players – David Beckham and French legend Zinedine Zidane – back together to celebrate the brand’s 25th anniversary of its Predator boot.
Becks and Zidane were famously great rivals during their playing days and even played together for Spanish club Real Madrid.
The Predator Accelerator was worn by Zidane when he captained France to World Cup glory in 1998, while the Predator Precisions were donned by Beckham for his famous World Cup-qualifying free-kick against Greece in 2001.
Adidas is set to relaunch the boot as part of its 25th anniversary, including Zidane’s gold trim and Beckham’s white boot.
To coincide with the re-release and anniversary, adidas has also unveiled an accompanying TVC starring the two former greats. Check it out below:
