Sydney PR firm Bec Brown Communications (BBC) has added international brand Willie’s Cacao to its client roster.
The chocolate brand joins a list of clients for the team including Australian Radio Network, iHeartRadio, Australian Girls Choir, ABC For Kids, The Wiggles and The X Studio.
Coles has secured a national deal to stock the UK artisan chocolate Willie’s Cacao, with the high end brand sitting alongside Lindt and Green & Blacks. Coles will stock Willie’s Cacao nationally from October 13 and BBC will spearhead the launch campaign.
Chocolate entrepreneur Willie Harcourt-Cooze who came to fame with his TV series ‘Willie’s Wonky Chocolate Factory’ and ‘Willie’s Chocolate Revolution’ will be coming to Australia November 10 – 21 on a promo tour to promote the Coles deal, with a series of media interviews, special food events, and tasting sessions in Coles supermarkets across Sydney and Melbourne.
Willie’s Cacao has already collaborated with ice-cream genius Gelato Messina at this weekend’s Smooth Festival of Chocolate, a two day chocolate extravaganza in The Rocks hosted by NOVA’s Smooth FM and The Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority.
A large part of the marketing campaign will focus on the Coles consumer and will run across Coles radio, magazine, and online, and extensive in-store point of sale. It will be augmented by social media and PR plus the airing of Willie’s two TV series here in Australia, with network details to come.
