Beau Ryan Dropped From Woolies Campaign Following Cheating Scandal

Beau Ryan, a former NRL player and regular on The Footy Show, has reportedly been dismissed as brand ambassador for supermarket giant Woolworths following the allegations Ryan had an affair with former Hi-5 star Lauren Brant.

The cheating scandal was revealed in Women’s Day, detailed from the perspective of Brant’s ex-fiancee (they were apparently engaged at the time of the cheating).

Per reports in the Sydney Morning Herald and Daily Mail (who labelled the story exclusive) Ryan was dropped from Woolies’ prepaid mobile phone service Connect campaign as brand ambassador.

He had only started the campaign a few weeks ago.

The statement from a Woolworths spokesperson on the Daily Mail site said: “Woolworths Connect has ended its partnership with Beau Ryan.”

B&T has contacted Woolworths for comment but had not heard back at the time of publication.
