publisher Bauer Media has swung the axe on 13 roles as it restructures the editorial teams for ELLE and Harper’s BAZAAR.
A Bauer spokesperson told B&T that the new structure new structure will integrate the print and digital editorial teams across both titles. This includes fashion, beauty, features, subbing and art content.
“Within the restructure, most roles will remain as is or new roles will be created,” the spokesperson said.
“There will be 13 roles impacted by the change and all impacted employees will be supported through these changes.”
Consultation with affected employees commenced on Friday.
The job cuts come not long after Bauer announced the departures of Harper’s BAZAAR editor-in-chief Kellie Hush and ELLE editor-in-chief Justine Cullen.
