Bastion Collective’s data and research recruitment agency, Stable Research, has announced two new key appointments as it looks to build on the business’ existing leadership position within the industry.
Mitch Gross has been appointed to the role of CEO, while Katie Ferro has joined the business as general manager.
Gross steps into the CEO role with a wealth of experience and success in launching and scaling complex businesses, having held senior leadership positions at eBay in North America for over 12 years and at WPP here in Australia.
Gross is a skilled operator and global leader with extensive experience developing and monetising data products.
Gross said of his appointment: “I am thrilled to join Stable at this inflection point as the business integrates into the Bastion Collective agency and begins to identify future opportunities.
“Stable Research has an excellent reputation within the market research industry and a strong existing core business.
“Yet there are terrific opportunities to build upon its core assets such as its Soapbox Community of 110,000+ members.”
He added: “I feel fortunate to join Pip Hooper and Katie Ferro, our new GM, in building the future of the Stable Research business.”
Newly-appointed general manager, Katie Ferro, will oversee operations and client management.
Ferro brings a strong history in data research, having spent the last eight years at IRI in senior management roles.
Prior to this, Ferro built up a broad knowledge base across various industries and roles.
Ferro said: “I’m excited by the opportunity to work with the amazing team at Stable Research and Bastion Collective and look forward to working with Mitch Gross, our new CEO, to create an even greater Stable Research.”
The two new appointments come as Stable Research’s director Pip Hooper moves into an executive director role managing sales and as Karen Johnston, director and partner in the business commenced her retirement in October.
