Ava Senaratne

Upon completing a Bachelor of Advertising at RMIT Melbourne with distinction, Ava joined Hello I'm Venus as their first Account Coordinator. As well as holding client servicing and strategy planning responsibilities, she initiated and managed the "Venus Passion Project" to renew the agency's working culture and was praised for her inexhaustible enthusiasm and creative ideas.After an extremely rewarding year as a suit she moved to Tokyo where her travels gave her several opportunities to continue completing successful freelance digital and branding projects as a designer.---Ava had the opportunity to develop her design skills at Lowe MENA during her RMIT semester breaks. As a Junior Art Director she had the privilege of working across several accounts including Apple, Axe and Bloomingdales. During her second Lowe internship she was even initiated into a covert design team for a classified FC Barcelona branding job.Her first published print campaign was an iPod Valentines Day promotion, the first Apple brief Lowe received after they won the account. In Melbourne she took the initiative to find her own clients and successfully completed several freelance projects throughout her stint at RMIT, including a rebrand of RMIT's student magazine, The Catalyst.---Ava is now working at Venus Communications as an Account Manager and is looking forward to a year of exciting projects ahead!---Please get in touch at ava.sen@gmail.com---
