VML and ASB Bank joined forces to reimagine ASB’s digital product and service offerings through a new mobile-first customer experience – designing and engineering an all-new ASB website built on Adobe Experience Manager.
ASB undertook the digital transformation project to accommodate emerging device preferences and deliver on the digital experience expectations of today’s customers while leveraging the benefits provided by advanced real-time data and personalisation capabilities.
Over the past 18 months, VML and ASB have been working to deploy fully reimagined sections of the site experience. These sections are already delivering significant uplifts for key success metrics and business drivers for the bank.
Following the final release of a search focused and personalised home page to tie the work together, the site will arguably be one of the most innovative banking website experiences in the world to date.
Aden Hepburn, managing director & ECD said, “We are extremely excited to launch the new digital experience for ASB. The positive initial results build on a fantastic partnership as we reimagined ASB’s digital and customer experience needs for the future.
“This was made possible by great client partners and the banks desire to create highly innovative and industry defining work.”
Fiona Colgan, general manager of ASB Digital said, “We wanted a design and front end development vendor who was able to create customer-centric mobile-responsive experiences that could drive the outcomes we were targeting. And of course they had to match the innovative nature of our brand.
“In VML we found a partner who provided the expertise, scale, challenge and commitment we were looking for. We’re very happy with both the initial business results we’ve seen since go-live and the platform this provides for ongoing optimisation.”
