Ash London, Isaac “Issie” Smith and Elliot Garnaut are set to wake up with Melbourne as hosts of KIIS Breakfast with Ash, Issie & Elliot, launching on KIIS 1011.
The trio, who essentially succeeded Kiis FM’s failed Kyle & Jackie O venture down south, will begin their new show from Monday, 26 October.
In a release, ARN said the trio would bring a “new and unmatched level of energy, entertainment and personality to KIIS 1011”, delivering a combination of music, sport, fashion, culture and conversation with a distinctly local flavour—something that the Sydney-based Kyle & Jackie O could not crack.
KIIS Breakfast with Ash, Issie & Elliot brings together broadcasting expertise, sporting credibility and cultural influence in a local breakfast show “packed with positivity, humour and compelling chaos”. Georgia Love steps into the role of newsreader for KIIS Breakfast.
The announcement arrives ten days after the new Sydney breakfast line-up of Dr Chris Brown, Amy Gerard and Jack Charles was unveiled.
According to a report in Mumbrella, this is due to Smith, a four-time AFL premiership player and Norm Smith Medallist, calling the AFL Grand Final broadcast with SCA’s rival network Triple M.
