Leading strategic insights consultancy Nature today announced the recruitment of Arletta Turnbull as director in Melbourne, plus a series of new hires in its Melbourne office.

Turnbull joins after five years at The Evolved Group, where she was head of insights and consulting, leading a team to deliver strategic research through technology programs.

At Nature, she will be leading a large team of senior professionals, taking responsibility for a series of major accounts in her key spaces of retail and FMCG, as well as playing a key role in driving Nature’s business strategy.

The decision to hire Turnbull comes at a pivotal time of growth and is part of Nature’s ongoing investment in its people and services.

Nature managing partner, Chris Crook, said: “Despite the lockdowns, our recent growth has been largely driven by our investment in our people, who are our number one asset. We are excited to be able to welcome four talented additions to the company.”

“What really sets Nature apart is great people and great clients, whose experience with us remains boutique even though we consistently perform at scale. Remaining ‘boutique with bandwidth’ involves relentless investment of time and energy into our people and culture,” he said.

Alex Galvano has joined as associate director, bringing with him a near decade-long experience with GfK. His extensive knowledge of the online, financial, utilities and healthcare categories make him an asset to the team.  Galvano will work closely with Nick Tucker and other members of the senior leadership team on a number of Nature’s key accounts.

Keanu Giummarra has joined as consultant from SPB Advisory, bringing three years’ experience in organisational strategy, market research and new product/program development across the health, sport and events sectors.

Stefani Amancio joins Nature as a consultant from Sanofi Consumer Healthcare, where she coordinated quantitative and qualitative research across several major brands.

Nature Partner and Melbourne managing director, Justin Connally, said: “We’re excited to further strengthen our capabilities by bringing such a wealth of talent on board. Despite our recent growth, we still make a point of staying true to the values that built our business and we will continue to maintain the start-up mentality that makes Nature what it is.”
