Former WPP director Anna Borien (right) has joined Galore as a partner in the creative business.
“To fuel Galore’s growth we needed to bring a partner into the business who shares our passion to find a better way for clients and creatives to work together. Anna has that passion in spades, along with a brilliant mix of skills and a proven track record of building high performance businesses. When you add that she’s a wonderful human, it was clear she’s the perfect partner to join our business and our community as we realise the potential of Galore’s innovative model,” said Galore’s founder Tim Kirby (left).
Borien had previously led teams in the UK and Australia, working for agencies including Karmarama, Naked, and Clemenger BBDO, as well as WPP. Most recently, she has consulted to a range of independent agencies.
“It’s rare to find a business that is genuinely willing to unshackle itself from traditional industry norms and build new ways of using creativity to solve business problems – I wholeheartedly believe there’s a better way and am delighted to be proving it’s possible here at Galore,” said Borien.
“It’s clear from the progress that Galore has made already that we can deliver more of what clients need and less of what they don’t, while also being a supportive, respectful partner to independent creatives – it is possible to do it all! That desire to create a win-win relationship is what excites me, so I’m grateful to be here, partnering with Tim and delivering exactly that.”
Kirby added, “With so much great talent leaving the industry – either out of frustration, or because the industry simply doesn’t support them and their needs, it’s more important than ever for a different business model to exist, which empowers diverse talent to thrive.
