ABC’s Lara Tingle is being called out by Andrew Bolt after she anchored an 8-minute segment on 7.30 that slammed Scott Morrison.
Obviously, with the election fast approaching, it’s all anyone can talk about and Tingle didn’t mince her words when discussing Morrison’s eight-year tenure.
7.30 aired a lengthy segment that went over Morrison’s time in charge and it wasn’t exactly flattering, But I suppose the question is, is it biased or just true?
The segment touched on the more sticky points of Morrison’s reign and discussed, Robodebt, COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes and the bush fires, you know when Morrison famously went on holidays, while the country was burning.
Tingle said his actions, “raised questions about the prime minister’s character,” and referred to the political landscape during Morrison’s reign as being, “punctuated by scandals!”

Naturally, Sky News host Andrew Bolt wasn’t a fan of Tingle’s segment and according to news.com.au, he said: “Last night the ABC ran probably the most shameless, savage and biased smear of the prime minister and his government that I have ever seen.
“It ran for eight minutes claiming to be a review of the government’s last three years. And if you believe the presenter, Laura Tingle, the government in those three years has been a complete and utter failure led by a bungling fraud.”
Nothing says election time like Bolt making headlines.
