Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) has confirmed the departure of Amplifi’s president for Australia and New Zealand, Greg Brown, 12 months after he was appointed to the role.
The agency network said in a statement that Brown (pictured above, left) had left following a three-month notice period during which he implemented a number of significant projects, including the centralisation of media buying and implementation planning to Amplifi.
Brown is moving on to pursue “new independent interests within the business landscape”, according to the statement.
He joined DAN in 2015, first as its chief financial officer for the media, trading and performance brands before becoming president of Amplifi for Australia and New Zealand 12 months ago.
DAN chief executive Simon Ryan (pictured above, right) said: “Greg has made a significant impact as president for Amplifi ANZ, helping us bring Amnet and The StoryLab to market in Australia, and playing a pivotal role in the centralisation of media investment and implementation planning into Amplifi.
“I sincerely thank Greg for his commitment and service to Dentsu Aegis Network throughout the past few years and wish him every success in the future.”
Following an extensive global search, DAN said in the statement it will announce the appointment of a replacement for Brown soon.
