AJF has appointed eight new starters across account management, strategy and production following a raft of new business wins, including Catch, Specsavers and Bapcor.

The Bapcor win includes projects across Midas, Autobarn, Autopro and Chicane.

AJF was also appointed creative services agency for online retailer Catch and trusted healthcare brand, Specsavers.

“We are committed to attracting the best talent in the industry to better meet the challenges facing our clients,” said AJF founding partner and executive creative director Adam Francis.

He added, “the capabilities each new team member has brought to the agency has had an immediate, positive impact on our team. It’s great to feel the passion and energy as a result.”

Clarens Sanchez, Hayley Gafney, Kailah Symons, Luke Girolami and Sam Simpson join the account management team.

AJF head of account management Susan Bird said, “We have one of the most competent account management teams we’ve seen and I’m always impressed by the enthusiasm and curiosity of those starting out in the industry. We are in good hands with these guys as our future leaders.”

Chief strategy officer Peter Von Weiler and AJF strategy director Jill Cummins strengthen their team with the addition of Andrea Nelson, joining from Leo Burnett, and Elyse Scott joining from the Brand Agency.

Nelson picked up a number of marketing effectiveness awards at Leo Burnett, while Scott was assigned to hardware giant Bunnings at the Brand Agency.

Tony Truong joins AJF from the Clemenger Group as assistant production manager. He will be influential in implementing agile workflow systems and processes across the agency.

AJF is best known for their long-standing, effective partnerships with clients like Officeworks, Target and Bega, having won 24 Effies in the past 11 years, including Australia’s most effective agency, twice.
