The AFL is delighted to welcome Therabody as its Official Recovery Partner of the 2021 Toyota AFL Premiership Season. Therabody’s industry-leading devices and research will be integrated into pre-match training and post-match recovery routines to help prevent injuries and help improve overall athletic performance.

Therabody will also become the naming partner for the end-of-season AFL All-Australian team.

As the global innovator of tech and wellness, Therabody’s technologically advanced solutions are at the intersection of performance and pain management, rooted in research and innovation, and are used by professional athletes and medical professionals worldwide.

AFL Executive General Manager of Customer and Commercial, Kylie Rogers said it was pleasing to be able to welcome Therabody as the Official Recovery Partner of the 2021 Toyota AFL Season.

“Effective recovery is critical for the well-being of our players, so we are so pleased to welcome the expertise at Therabody to help support players both on and off the field,” Rogers said.

Therabody will provide the league access to Therabody University, Therabody’s educational division led by its founder Dr. Jason Wersland and his network of world-renowned health and fitness experts. The entire league will gain education on the importance of effective pre and post-game routines, recovery, and whole-body wellness.

“We are continuously working to develop industry-leading, clinical solutions that help support athletes in any sport, at any level. We look forward to supporting the AFL’s elite athletes and helping them to prevent injury and optimize overall performance,” he said.

Embedding this knowledge, research, and education will not only help optimize player recovery between matches, but will help to improve physical and mental performance – both on and off the pitch.
