Western Australia’s advertising industry will sleep in sleeping bags in a Northbridge carpark for The Salvation Army’s Oasis Project fundraiser.
On Thursday, March 12, 2026, a group of WA’s market professionals will come together to spend the night sleeping rough in a secure Northbridge location. The event will include a tour of the local area and discussions with the those who provide services to Australians experiencing homelessness.
Last year, more than 40 advertising, media and communications professionals signed up for the inaugural Oasis Sleepout, with the goal of raising $30,000 for the Salvation Army’s Oasis Project. The initiative raised more than $65,000.
The Oasis Sleepout was the committee’s most impactful satellite event for 2025, contributing more than 40 per cent of the overall donation.
Michelle Testa, Oasis chairperson and Carat client partner said: “We were blown away with the engagement from the industry, from Senior Leaders through to fresh juniors, signing up as soon as we reached out. The night itself left a significant impression on each individual, that is still talked about today – and so we couldn’t leave it as a once off!”
There are 60 spots available for this year and registration is now open.
