Adap.tv Appoints New Sales Director ANZ

Technology company Adap.tv has appointed Deshan Kumar as its sales director for Australia and New Zealand.

He joins the company at a crucial time as the AOL company promotes its ONE platform, the first global, cross-screen programmatic advertising platform for brands, agencies and publishers.

Kumar’s role will see him nurture relationships with existing partnerships whilst cultivating relationships with new advertisers. He brings a tremendous amount experience to the business, with six years as group sales manager (and, latterly, acting head of sales) at carsales.com.

Globally more than $100 billion is spent on programmatic buying, with Adap.tv recognising strong growth potential in ANZ over the next few years.

Mitch Waters, Australian managing director at Adap.tv says the role is crucial to the organisation. “We needed someone with the ambition of an excellent sales person, but we also needed someone numerate, with a strong understanding of data-driven advertising. We’ve found that in Deshan and we’re excited to have him on board,” said Waters.
