RadiumOne has announced the promotion of Adam Furness (pictured) to managing director ANZ, a new position for the rapidly growing Australian arm of the business.
Managing director APAC, Kerry McCabe, said Furness’ promotion would see the ANZ operation handed over to a highly capable leader.
“Adam is a passionate, committed and well respected operator in the Australian market. He has been fundamental in building our Australian business, creating a culture we value, and driving our client’s success.
“The Australian business is one of RadiumOne’s most advanced globally. We’ve gained huge traction here and we’re now at the point where we need a leader solely focused on building on this momentum – and growing our presence in the lively New Zealand market,” said McCabe.
Furness joined RadiumOne in 2014 and has over 16 years experience in advertising and media across digital, radio and TV. He has held leadership roles in sales, strategy, cross-platform and business development at Southern Cross Austereo, Macquarie Radio Network and Mi9.
With his new role effective immediately, Furness has promoted Luke Bussell the position of director of sales and business development.
Bussell joined RadiumOne from Brand New Media where he spent 12 months as group partnership director. Prior to that he was group sales manager at Southern Cross Austereo for over eight years, establishing a proven track record of consistently delivering commercial success. In his new role, Bussell will be focused on growing RadiumOne’s agency and brand client base and partnerships.
McCabe explained that the newly structured APAC leadership structure will support his continued focus on Asia and global RadiumOne projects. Commercial director APAC, Patrick Darcy, will continue to lead RadiumOne’s strategic partnerships, operations, data services and product across the APAC region.
