Active International Australia has announced the appointment of David Roddick to the newly created role of Head of Commercial Strategy.

Roddick will join the Sydney office of Active International, which is Australia’s largest independent corporate trade and financial solutions business, effective immediately. He will report to Active International Australia and Involved Media Group managing director, Sarah Keith.

One of Australia’s most experienced sales leaders, Roddick has been a Partner at the neuro-economics company Kinzler since January 2021.

His resume also includes senior roles at Foxtel and Adshel in Australia and working with over 30 international markets at Clear Channel International, which is headquartered in the UK.

 Keith said: “We are delighted to have David joining our team at Active International and he will make a great addition to the business as we continue to grow. Having an experienced sales leader on board supporting both the commercial and media teams is crucial.

“His appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to providing our clients with access to the best people and the best expertise.”

Active International Australia, head of media, Andrew Rogers, said: “Having someone of David’s calibre join the Active International team really does strengthen our senior management team and will go a long way in reinforcing our position as the premier global media trading business.”
