The Works takes Sunbeam creative

Sunbeam continues to shake up its agency partnerships, shifting its entire portfolio of appliances from Droga5 to independent Sydney agency The Works.

The Works now handles strategy, creative, digital and social media across the Sunbeam range. Work is already underway.

Yesterday it was announced that Match Media had won the $4m media account which was previously held by Carat.

On The Works’ appointment, Sunbeam’s general manager of marketing John Turnbull said: “We wanted an agency partner that could deliver effective campaigns across our product portfolio and were impressed with The Works work.”

Kevin Macmillan (pictured), creative partner and founder at The Works, added: “We’ve been talking to the guys at Sunbeam for a while now and we’re looking forward to helping them sell as much possible. It’s a brand that resonates with many Australians and its products are excellent. It’s always fun working on things that your family uses on a daily basis.”
