Social media start-up Roamz has launched a new social media management took for bricks and mortar retailers.
Local Measure enables business, with one or many stores, improve customer service by engaging with consumers on social media.
The tool takes data from Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and Instagram to provide insights for retailers. Results are captured in real time.
Local Measure has been developed by the team behind Roamz. Roamz sifts through the four social media sites to tell users what’s being said in real time about a certain place, such as a building, a sports arena or a railway station.
Local Measure can identify a store’s most influential customers on social media, their demographics, which stores are most social and top keywords customers use about their stores.
Jonathan Barouch, Roamz CEO, said: “Local Measure allows retailers to reclaim that personal customer service so often lost in the business transaction.
"While some customers may comment to friends or colleagues about weak coffee or poorly manicured pinkies, few would complain to the retailer outright. With Local Measure, retailers can now use this feedback to improve their customer service and make changes to their products or services accordingly.”
