Radio revenue grows again on political ads

Metropolitan radio advertising revenue has climbed for the six month running with all five markets posting an increase in July, Commercial Radio Australia (CRA) figures show.

Joan Warner, chief executive CRA, said: “Several factors, including recent political ad spend, have contributed to a very positive start for radio in the new financial year. That this growth is part of an ongoing six-month trend highlights the industry’s strength and resilience”.
