Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) is on the lookout for two agencies to take on its three-year international marketing and PR accounts.
The pitches are for the local tourism body’s UK and European accounts.
The UK brief may be worth a “mid-six-figure sum” alone, according to the UK’s PRWeek.
The UK, Ireland and Nordic region incumbent, Hills Balfour, is re-pitching as is German agency Global Spot, which currently looks after the European account.
The local regions the two winning agencies will be required to promote include Cairns and Far North Queensland, the Central West, Townsville, the Mackay Whitsunday Region, Gladstone, Rockhampton and many more.
Click here to access the UK brief and here for the European. Both invitations for submissions close on October 10. The winning agencies will start work in January and the contracts will carry the option to extend by another two years.
